A Bite for Impact: Making a Difference with A-Ensonga Hearts

At Boujie Bakes Vegan, we’re proud to partner with A-Ensonga Hearts on their Floor to Desk Project, an initiative to provide desks and chairs for underprivileged schoolchildren in the Bongo District of the Upper East Region.

Right now, many of these children lie on the floor to learn. Their potential is limitless, but their learning conditions hold them back. Through our A Bite for Impact campaign, we aim to purchase 20 dual desks to give these kids a comfortable, inspiring environment to learn and grow.

JICA NINJA BUSINESS PLAN COMPETITION

Our journey with the JICA NINJA Project was a transformative experience that marked a significant milestone in Boujie Bakes Vegan’s growth. The program introduced us to the principles of lean thinking and the lean startup methodology, which became the backbone of our business operations. Through intensive training sessions, we gained a deeper understanding of how to streamline processes, eliminate waste, and maximize value for our customers. The mentorship and guidance provided during the program helped us refine our business model, ensuring it was not only innovative but also scalable and sustainable.

Being selected as finalists and grant winners was a proud moment for our team and a validation of our hard work and vision. The project gave us access to invaluable resources, a network of like-minded entrepreneurs, and global perspectives that expanded our outlook. Beyond the tools and knowledge, the experience instilled a sense of confidence and resilience, allowing us to take bold steps in scaling our brand.
